With the numerous impending weddings you have this spring and summer, you probably also have a fair share of bachelorette parties to attend, or better yet, plan! The options are many and may seem daunting, so take a cue from my top five bachelorette party ideas!

-Lynden Halpern

Destination: If the bride-to-be is the extravagant kind, a destination bachelorette is a great idea! Sure, Sin City is the obvious choice, so get a little more bang for your buck and head tropical instead. From meals to nights out, Vegas can add up, but head down to an all-inclusive spot where you’ll have fun getting away for a lot more value. The Aventura Spa Palace in Riviera May, Mexico is a beautiful resort for adults only, so you and your gals won’t have to deal with crying babies at dinner. Enjoy surf, sand and sun in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

That’s awesome Lesley! I wish my friends had done that for me. My party, well, sucked! 5 girls including myself, 2 of them were under age and one I had never met before! I was home by 11pm….and sober….I went out and got a tattoo when my husband went out for his.

we kept it simple for my best friends bacheloette party. One of our atendees was a minor so we got tickets to see legally blond, a hotel (where I worked for a GREAT discount) had apps and champagne in the room before the show and dinner after at the hotel. We also threw in some fun games here and there and decorated the room in her colors.

My girlfriends put together a party in NYC for me. We are from Boston so we all took a train to NYC very early in the morning and spent the day shopping and the night partying. It was so much fun and the best part was that it was a total surprise! I had no idea. They woke me up at 4 in the morning and off we went.
