Girlfriend Fun Guide: Chicago

1 2 3 4

The windy city is one of my favorite places to go, and since it’s starting to warm up (and it’ll be a little less windy!), I can’t wait to plan a visit. Girls Night Out Chicago will be painting the town pink on April 6 & 7, but I recommend a trip to Chicago anytime.

To Eat: Sable Kitchen & Bar, 505 North State Street, Chicago, IL (312) 755-9704

Why I It:

They say that behind every great man is a powerful woman, and this restaurant proves that’s true. It’s named after The “Father of Chicago,” Jean Baptise Point du Sable, but the kitchen is run by a woman, Chef Heather Terhune!

Tapas-like plates dubbed social plates include a gourmet take on soft pretzels, deviled eggs with truffle oil and home-made beef jerkey.

The bar is one of the largest in all of Chicago and with a renowned mixologist, head bartender and sommelier, you can’t go wrong with any drink.
