Layering Without the Bulk
Layering is especially necessary now that we’re in March—it’s not quite spring, but winter isn’t over just yet either. Prepare for in-between temps with these tips and clothing picks!
Quick layering tips:
1. Watch your silhouette.
2. Pair fitted items with slouchy items, or boxy pieces with tailored pieces, to keep your look from feeling overwhelming.
3. Accentuate your waist. This makes the overall look more slimming and feminine. Create the effect with a tailored jacket, belted cardigan or high-waisted skirt.

I love this striped Elizabeth and James Codi Jacket ($395 on Piperlime.com). It’s versatile enough to wear over your favorite tank or tee, and it can be worn at the office or on the weekend. (PS: It’s one of Rachel Zoe’s Picks!)
