Little Things a Guy Can Say/Do to Make You Fall in Love

In love, as in life, sometimes it’s the smallest stuff that counts. Yes, my boyfriend may have bought me a beautiful set of pearl earrings, but it’s the little things—like him showing up at a train station to pick me up (without being asked!) when my friends were late—that really get me.

So, the hopeless romantic in me was stoked to find The Frisky’s 15 Things A Guy Could Say That Would Make Us Fall Truly, Madly, Deeply In Love today. Yes, some of the words they put in Mr. Right’s mouth are a little bit of a stretch—ex: “#13. You looked a little PMSy, so I baked you chocolate chip cookies and rented Bridget Jones’ Diary.” (I don’t know any guy who knows who Bridget Jones is, but hey you never know!) My personal fave is #14: “Sleep as late as you want. I’ll bring you breakfast in bed.” Awww! See all 15 on [TheFrisky].

when he does random sweet things like tell me I’m beautiful (without me fishing around for a compliment!), sending random texts about our future together, etc. Makes me love him even more!

On his birthday he bought me 2 dozen red roses. Very sweet gesture and unexpected. Also, throwing me a surprise 40th Birthday party and inviting all of my friends and family. Now that was a big stretch for him and he pulled it off nicely. He is definitely a keeper.

Right after having my son I felt self conscious about my appearance; basically fat. My ex made me feel so beautiful, by telling me that I looked so beautiful, was glowing, and my body was precious because I had brought life into the world.

One of the most sweetest things was when he came over when I was sick to make me a grilled cheese and soup after he bought my favorite movie for me.

leave a note or card in my coat pocket or send s to the job just thinking about u or a phone call or just surprise me when i am leaving work and he’s waiting outside with flowers and say he’s taking out for dinner.

Its not only the little things that my husband says at times, but the things that he does without me even having to ask that make him so special and show me how much he loves me.

I kinda like when he said I look beautiful with no makeup on. That made me feel good.

An Ex was away for my first B-day that we were together (my 26th)but was away on buisiness, so he mailed my usual b-day card w/ a gift….Then unexpectedly sent me 25 birthday cards, one for each b-day he missed!!

Being complimented on being “pretty” and anything to do with appearances from anyone gets old and too much can get into your head and than appearances become too important. Being complimented on other than appearances such as, “you’re smart, “you’re talented, “you’re creative,” is much more appreciated.. for me anyways.
