The Wonderful Kitchen of Daphne Oz
Last week, we introduced you to the gorgeous (inside and out!) Daphne Oz! She gave us insight on easy ways to get healthy, and even told us the story behind her bestselling book, The Dorm Room Diet: The 10-Step Program for Creating a Healthy Lifestyle Plan that Really Works.
This week, we’re giving you an inside peek at Daphne’s kitchen. From her fave ingredients to her guilty pleasures, she shares it all. Bathing suit season will be here soon, and it’s never too early to start working off winter weight gain (and all that V-Day candy!).
For an added dose of Daphne, here are five of her best tips, all of which can be found on dormroomdiet.com!
1. Always eat breakfast! No excuses.
2. In addition to drinking half your body weight in water, always drink a glass before every meal.
3. Eat every three hours, at least. This includes meals and snacks!
4. Count as high as your age before you’re about to eat something unhealthy. In the time it takes to count, you may (hopefully!) reconsider.
5. Don’t eat two hours before you go to sleep.

I definitely try not to eat heavy after 7pm and I drink plenty of water. I’ve learned breakfast is important. Breakfast and lunch are my heaviest meals, sometimes at work I get busy and forget to snack.
no eating before bed and water are important!
The no eating before bedtime is a good one.
These tips aren’t nothing new.. but thanks for the reminders!
These rules are actually pretty easy to follow…making the diet easier to commit to.
