Grammy Awards: Red Carpet Report Card
The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards took place last night in Los Angeles…or CBS for those of us who spent the show couch-side. There were some definite surprises, both in the realm of winners/losers and in the best/worst dressed categories. The Biebs (what’s a Bieber?!) went home empty handed, while cellist Esperanza Spalding took home the award for Best New Artist. Notoriously well-dressed Rihanna disappointed and Lady Gaga showed up in an egg…which she incubated in until the performance of her newest single “Born This Way.”
I definitely have my opinions of the ceremony, and so do the folks at Yahoo! Music—they graded award show-goers with report card grades (think: B+, A-, C, etc.!). [Yahoo Music]

I saw it, and was only looking forward to my hubby Adam.. but he just playd the piano and did back up for Riri.. it’s all good though. I didn’t really have any favorite performances. The tribute in the beginning for Aretha Franklin was kind of cool. Nothing else really stood out to me. No one really sings anymore nowadays. All mono tone or lip sync
