Best Super Bowl Commercial 2011? You Decide
Perhaps more noteworthy than the Packers’ win in yesterday’s Super Bowl were the highly anticipated commercials that aired. These sometimes million dollar spots are coveted, and I’d venture to guess that a majority of Super Bowl viewers watched specifically for the ads.
I have to say that I was personally underwhelmed. Eminem (and a claymation version of himself) endorsing two different brands? An epicly long Budweiser stint? Did Darth Vader appeal only to Star Wars geeks?
Was patiently (read: anxiously) sitting through first down after first down for these ads worth it? I’m going to go with no, but I’d love to hear what you have to say. Check out what CBS deemed the top five commercials of the evening and be sure to cast your vote on… [CBS News]

The best was the kid as Darth Vader and a close second was the Doritos commerical when he sucked the guy’s finger! LOL Ha! That one still makes me laugh out loud!

I liked the Best Buy one with Ozzy Osbourne and Justin Bieber “what’s a bieber?” and the VW one with the beetle insect racing through the forest.
Dear Chrysler, although the commercial was nicely shot, 1) we know Eminem would never actually drive one of your crap cars, 2) maybe if you produced a stylish quality product people would buy it, 3) don’t pull this “Made in America” crap on us, we know most of the parts and some assembly is done in Mexico and Canada!
Groupon was in incredibly poor taste. So was GoDaddy, but they *always* are in poor taste.
I LOVED the VW commercial and the Eminem commercial for Chrysler.
I watched the Superbowl and I thought the Darth Vadar commercial was absolutely adorable. The Doritos commercial was disgusting and I didn’t get it either.
My favorite ad was the Darth Vader spot and the Eminem spot!
I watched, it was a good game. I kinda liked the Doritos one where he sprinkles the Doritos on the fish, plant and then the grandpa and they come back to life.
haha none of the commercials were really that good to me.. Kim Kardashian’s was lame with the Skechers. I love JImmy John’s and that one was kind of wack also.

I was a bit grossed out by the Doritos commercial where the guy was sniffing some mans pants? WHAT?
My favourite was the BridgeStone “reply-to-all” commercial! HILARIOUS!
