If you didn’t fall in love with ’90s heartthrob Marky Mark (fine, now he goes by Mark Wahlberg) during his final scene in Boogie Nights, you’ll find new reason to crush when you see him in the buzz-worthy film The Fighter. The rough-and-tumble boxing youth he portrays isn’t unlike Mr. Wahlberg himself at a younger age, and both characters have officially roundhoused their way right into our Crush of the Week column.

Yes, Mark has been a wicked hot Boston boy from the time he thrusted his way into our hearts as a 13-year-old founding member of New Kids on the Block in 1984. But since then, Mark has blossomed into an actor, producer and Hollywood mainstay. He may be VH1’s #1 Hottest Hottie of the ‘90s, but his role as an actor in incredible movies like The Departed and as a producer of the unrivaled series Entourage assure that he’ll be remembered for much more than his pretty face.

Whether you prefer the bad boy Marky Mark of the ‘90s (you’re welcome for the picture!) or the wholesome father of five he’s become, there’s no question that Mark Wahlberg is on my Christmas list again this year.
