Maybe you saw him launch his career on the series finale of Ally McBeal in 2001, or perhaps you’ve recently heard of him as Dee’s celeb obsession on It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Wherever you caught him first, you may not know that this humble and unassuming 29-year-old is also a percussionist, producer and Barnes and Noble’s #1 Best-Selling Artist of All Time.

Despite all the accolades, this quintuple-platinum genre-defying mogul maintains a down-to-earth appeal that makes you want to squeeze his cheeks and take him on a carriage ride through Central Park. With his upcoming worldwide tour, that may be hard to schedule, but you can always throw on his Christmas album Noël, close your eyes and imagine that he’s a “breath away from where you are” (sorry, we couldn’t help it!).
