Save Your Hands This Winter

1 2 3 4 5

Winter means cozy knits and holiday cheer, but unfortunately it can also mean bad hair days and worse hand days. Wind and extreme cold can completely destroy hands, leaving them dry and cracked. Don’t hide in gloves and mittens all season long—protect and pamper your palms against the harsh winter weather with these miracle products (some of which are 2010 Beauty at Its Best Award winners!).

-Lynden Halpern

Gentle enough to be used daily, the miracle formula in Clarins’ Hand and Nail Treatment Cream ($30 at Sephora) is strong enough to make a vast improvement in the softness of hands. Works overtime to keep the skin around your nails healthy and clean as well.

Shea butter does work well especially with gloves at night. I am a body cream freak. Have to have cream with me everywhere I go.

I keep lotion at work, usually bath & body works since I wash my hands all the time; a travel size lotion in my purse(s) and a big thingy of lotion at home

I use CereVe Cream for my whole body and it works wonders. My dermatologist told me about it a few years ago. You can buy a huge jar at your local drug store for about $10.00. It’s even great for your face :)
