Girlfriend Fun Guide: Philadelphia

1 2 3

Philly is one of my favorite cities closest to NYC—parts of it have a politically modern feel like something out of Batman’s Gotham City, while other neighborhoods are old and historical. But this interesting marriage of two completely different vibes creates a city with amazing food (hometown of Starr Restaurants like Morimoto and Buddakan) great boutiques, artsy theaters, and most of it within walking distance.

These three are on my list to check out for the next visit. Meet me there at Girls Night Out Philadelphia on October 13-14. Tickets are $10 OFF for a limited time, so score yours now!

RESTAURANT:

DISCOVER: Zama, 128 S 19th St

EXPERIENCE: With menu items ranging in price from $2 to $45 for a single item, there’s something for everyone at this sushi spot.

Order…

1. The Wasabi Lobster roll for a great combo of seafood and spice!

2. Eel Omelet—even though it sounds odd, it’s a must-try.

3. The Double Chocolate Bombe…the name says it all!

4. Toko-hattan (Bourbon, ginger brandy, orange bitters)—a nod to my favorite city and a great place to travel in Asia.
