Four Apple Breakfasts for Fall

1 2 3 4

This first day of autumn is almost here and September signifies the start of prime apple season. With chillier mornings upon us, we need something to look forward to every a.m.—like yummy breakfasts that use fall’s favorite fruit. You might have to wait till Sunday brunch to serve these up—or make it “Breakfast for Dinner” at your place tonight.

I haven’t been apple picking since I was a kid but it sounds fun! I love apple pie and I always eat an apple everyday at work before lunch.

Yea, apples. So reminds me of fall. Still don’t like the having to click thru to see all the pics. Prefer the pics to be on one page.

We used to go to Michigan for apples but for the last 10 years I just go into my backyard and pick them off my own trees. I have red delicious, Granny Smith and Jonathan. I make a Greek version of Apple pie, it very easy and quick to make. But I think I will try the Apple Cheddar Muffins this weekend.
