Discover the Sweet Side of Divorce

Yep, something as serious as a busted marriage gets a sunny side with this site discovered by our girlfriends over at DailyWorth. Hear us out:

He took the toolbox. You took the flat-screen. Break-ups are a bummer, but DivorceCandy has a solution. Set up a Divorce party and register!

Possibly the only website to make going splitsville seem like fun, DivorceCandy has articles (love “The Divorce Bucket List”), discussion forums with experts (offering qualified legal and financial advice) and even free concierge services that help you:

1. upgrade your image (nothing says “I’m moving on” like a new look)

2. restart your career

3. plan a trip

4. buy a home

And yes, you can also set up a specific gift registry that will help you weather this major life transition.

As the founders Jen and Randi note:

“Even an amicable divorce leaves you with a sense of loss. Many friends and relatives want to help. You should let them. Let them know about divorce parties and the registry.”

Here’s to starting over with style! Check out DivorceCandy.

Starting a new hobby or excercise routine & prayer/meditation always perks me up and gives me inner peace . Although I’ve never been married it lifts my spirits and I am soon returning to my happiness.

Gift registry, interesting concept. I will have to forward this to my sister, who is in family law. Thanks!

No divorce, just a breakup from long term relationships. One was a total relief, glad he is gone, the other was a bit harder. This website is a good idea to help the healing.

I’m no stranger to divorce seeing as half of my family have gone through divorces. My own parents were never divorce. My dad is a widow. But seeing what my cousins go through with their parents aka my aunts and uncles going through divorces is tough.

Thankfully I have never had to go through a divorce, I do feel for everyone out there that had to experience it. It must be really rough!
