Yes, We’d Wear Sweats to Work

We know you have them. Those ratty, holey sweats you wear watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians, going grocery shopping, on a cas Saturday morning. Ditch those drab old things, but still stay comfy. We’re feeling all sorts of warm and fuzzy (inside and out!) now that sweats are stylish. Yes, stylish…and they come in loads more forms than pants and hoodies, meaning we’d even wear these pieces to someplace important, like work. Keep reading….

J. Jill’s Knit Boyfriend Jacket (SALE $49.99) is the definition of comfort-chic. The heather gray color and cotton-polyester blend combined with a slouchy fit makes this an easy pick for the coming season. Pair with dark skinnies and heels for an effortlessly put-together look.

The Stretch Sweatpants by T by Alexander Wang ($115 at Barney’s) are a must-have for fall. The forest green color is on-trend and a nice change from ordinary neutrals. Set it apart with stacked bracelets and a contrasting light cami, all topped with a cardi.

THIS IS WORK APPROPRIATE: James Perse’s Cotton-Blend Sweatshirt Dress ($135 on Net-A-Porter.com) combines comfort and class. The crew neck and three-quarter length sleeves make it an ideal pick for chilly temps, while the loose fit and visible seams keep it kinda laid-back. Pair with textured tights and a silver or gold statement necklace. Who knew sweats could be so stand-out?

there oughtta be a law against this! there are people in my office who do wear sweats and its SO unattractive, not to mention they begin to work the way they look..lazy and sloppy! there is a time and place for sweats, but it is not at the office

I wear sweats to work all the time, but that’s because I don’t deal with people, but I should dress up more since they make me feel so relaxed at work

I’ve got almost exactly a grey jacket like that first picture. I wear it to work. Very comfy. I also have a dress like the last one but it’s a print. They make some good clothes styles now from sweat-like material that is for sure appropriate for work.

I love wearing sweats on the weekends, even to go out and run errands and I don’t give a sh*t what people think. I actually hate it when ppl have to be dressed up all the time. Appearances are not everything.
