Anniversary Gifts No Matter How Long You’ve Been Together

Buying for the boys can be downright impossible, and it’s especially hard to decipher what to get him for each anniversary. Lucky for you, we’ve got two options for each milestone celebration.

ONE YEAR: Cologne or Video Games

For a scent both of you can enjoy, try Chanel Allure Homme ($54-$72 at Saks Fifth Avenue). It’s a crisp, clean fragrance that smells so irresistible and adds to his already-sexy appeal.

If he’s into video games, get him top picks like Super Street Fighter IV ($40) or BlazeBlue: Continuum Shift ($39, both at Gamespot.com). He’ll love you for it, but do expect him to be occupied for an hour…or a lot longer.

Three Years: Couples Massage or Concert/Sport Event

Enjoy some seductive relaxation with a couple’s massage. This om-worthy activity will give you quality time together and up the ante with intimacy. (How cool does this spa’s Couple’s Massage in Jacksonville, Florida look?)

Or opt for tickets to see his favorite sports team or a band that might be playing in the area. Visit the team or band’s official site or check out Stubhub.com.

Five Years: Dinner for Two or Romantic Getaway

Spice it up this time around with a dinner at home. Cook your favorite dishes, pour your favorite wines and end the evening off with a sensual twist.

Looking for someone else to administer the TLC? Book a 3-4 day getaway that you both have been admiring and let loose as you rekindle the flames. (Check out great options on Travelocity!)

10 Years: Watch or Electronics

A manly watch like this Emporio Armani Men’s Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch ($245 at Nordstrom) is classic look for an everyday approach or a special occasion.

If your guy is into electronics, get him the latest iPad ($499 at Apple.com). He’ll have fun with key features like: audio and visual media, books, periodicals, movies, music and games, as well as web content.

15 Years: Crystals or A Night Out

Go all out and treat your guy to Ravi Ratan Black Royal Crystal Cufflinks ($195 at Cufflinks.com). Get them personalized to complete this classy look.

Or celebrate the night out at a new restaurant or an old fave to relax and reminisce about how far you’ve come. Check out Restaurant.com for awesome deals.

My husband and I just celebrated our 29th anniversary. We simply do either a movie and dinner or a nice show and dinner. This year we saw Takers. It was fantastic!
Just being together this long is our main gift to each other. But I am not going to
lie and say I don’t want that cruise for our 30th next year. Because I do. Still working on it. :)
