5 Summer Pieces to Wear Now and Later

One of the hottest emerging trends this summer was the skinny cargo pant, led by the celebrity fave (and somewhat pricey) J Brand Houlihan ($244 at Barney’s). Surprisingly flattering, we’re loving these paired with a feminine blouse, jacket and pumps for fall.
Summer’s flirty little floral dress easily transitions into fall with some strategic layering. A cardigan, blazer or leather jacket and a pair of tights ensures you’ll be wearing the Floral Print Cotton Dress from Moschino (on sale for $260.87 at Zappos.com) long into the cooler months.

Love cargo pants, but hate these particular “skinny” cargo pants. And I too don’t like shorts with tights. Summer dresses with jackets. blazers, or cardis are perfect for fall, though.
