In honor of National Girlfriends Day, we discovered some great places across America to get away for a weekend with your best girls. In honor of today’s Best Dressed Girlfriend Award, have your chicest chica help you pick out your travel wardrobe.

Wine Valley Inn, Solvang, California

Located in the heart of Santa Barbara County is a boutique hotel with private gardens. Along with the usual spa treatments at the Inn itself, the surrounding area is known for their great wineries. Take your girls on a guided tour and tasting at some of the best vineyards, then stop and relax for a picnic lunch with great food and wine.

Point Independence Inn, Onset, Massachusetts

This restored Mediterranean beach house is a combo bed and breakfast spa. Situated right on the Onset Bay, you can take a quiet walk on the beach and share a bottle of wine with your girls. Veg out with a hot stone massage, a facial, or take a yoga class right on the sand. Great for getting away from the daily grind and focusing on your friendships.

Arrowhead Resort, Lake Whitney, Texas

If you and your girls are the types who would rather play in the mud than wear it as a mask, head to Lake Whitney, Texas. At the Arrowhead Resort, the lake is chock-full of activities like water skiing, scuba diving, sailing or swimming. Come ashore for a game of basketball or volleyball, or go shopping at the numerous antique stores surrounding the resort. Relax in your own cabin when the day is done.

Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Virginia

No, we didn’t confuse this with a family getaway article. Who doesn’t love to feel the wind blowing through their hair, their heart dropping for a second, as they ride one of Busch Gardens’ monster roller coasters? For those less adrenaline-inclined, there’s cultural sections stocked with foods, shops and other amusements. While you’re in Williamsburg, why not stop by Colonial Williamsburg (just down the road) for a glimpse into a slower-paced time when Apollo’s Chariot didn’t exist.

Hotel Gansevoort, New York, NY

If you and your chicas are more cosmopolitan, get away from the everyday with partying and pampering. The hotel offers packages for girlfriends, so you can get spoiled with spa treatments, or relax by the rooftop pool sipping cocktails. At night, get the party started at their nightlife venue, Provocateur, or hang out at their Plunge Bar + Lounge.  After a night out with the ladies you might need another dose of spa relaxation the next day!
