Guy-inspired Styles from Philadelphia

Even though we’ve made it quite clear that when Shecky’s rolls into Philadelphia, the city of Brotherly Love will be transformed to the city of Girlfriend-y Love (!), we just gotta acknowledge the city’s long-standing nickname. Fun fact: it’s actually an adaptation of the translation from the Greek phrase “brotherly love” (philos=love and adelphos=brother). To get you psyched for our Philly invasion, we picked our top guy-inspired pieces available at next week’s event. Don’t have tickets yet? Get tickets to Girls Night Out Philadelphia and enter code PHILLY20 for a 20% discount before they sell out (OFFER EXPIRES 7/17)!

The funky folks at Accessory Remix bring you a feminine and updated take on the classic men’s bowtie with the Chunky Bow Neck ($14). Available in a variety of colors on your choice of a gold or silver chain, this necklace will provide a bit of boyish charm to any look.

The Dream Control Tweed Fedora ($90) just screams old-school studs (think: hotties from black and white movies!). Paired with a super-feminine outfit, it provides the perfect dose of guy style and a whole lotta mystery.

We’re always jealous of the comfy shoes our guys get to sport while we struggle in the name of fashion. City Slips Ballet Flats with Carrying Case ($24.95) combines fashion with function in their oh-so-comfortable ballet flats that come with a matching carrying bag. Wear ‘em out or take ‘em along “just in case.”

Ditch the dainty and go for a masculine-muse-inspired chunky piece like this necklace by GLAM ($35). No matter what you rock with it, this bold statement will surely get you noticed.

Imagine a chic little black dress, t-straps of strapless with the gold bow tie, strappy gold shoes (or black/gold) little clutch and you’re making a statement.
