Celeb Skin Secrets Revealed
We’re gearing up for L.A. Girls Night Out and we’re psyched to announce that Molly Walsh, celeb esthetician to stars like Brooke Shields, Maria Sharapova and Amanda Peet, will be there representing The Body Shop’s Nutriganics line. We chatted up Molly for her step-by-step (and easy!) guide to shining like a star.
Plus, get your tickets now for LA Girl’s Night Out! Molly will be giving an on-site demo of how to use her products (all included in the ticket price). Here’s are her steps for a red-carpet glow:
Step 1: Cleansers are the best skincare treatment. I always recommend using a washcloth to wipe off your cleanser. For a perfect spa cleanse, wash your hands first and wet your face with a little water, then use one pump of the Nutriganics Foaming Facial Wash ($10) on the tips of your fingers. Massage into your skin, loosening up any excess dirt and makeup. Next, wet a washcloth, (or try my favorite Facial Muslin Cloths ($9) from The Body Shop!) with lukewarm water and gently wipe off. Splash with some water and you’re cleansed!

Step 2: After cleansing, the pH acid mantel of your skin is off balance. Toners are designed to regulate and balance the pH of your skin. Some toners have ingredients for extra cleansing and some are designed to soothe the skin. The Nutriganics Refreshing Toner ($10) uses citrus and aloe vera to achieve both at once. Apply the toner using a cotton pad all over the face and neck. Before it dries, it’s best to apply your serum or moisturizer.
Step 3: Apply the Nutriganics Smoothing Serum ($15) while the toner is still moist on your skin. This seals in the ingredients from the toner and helps the serum penetrate better. Using one pump of serum on your fingertips, massage all over the face and neck to revitalize, smooth and soften.
Step 4: Your Nutriganics Smoothing Eye Cream should be applied after your serum. Make it extra nice and take a minute to do some light massage movements while applying your eye cream, reducing puffiness and fine lines. Using your ring finger (so you don’t apply too much pressure) take a small amount of eye cream and from the outer corner putwards, use light tapping movements inward to drain the fluid in the eye area.

Step 5: Moisturizers are a girl’s best friend! Try one, like the Nutriganics Smoothing Day Cream ($15) after your smoothing serum. With natural ingredients Community Trade Babbassu Oil to smooth out fine lines without clogging pores, this is one great secret potion lotion.
Molly Walsh Top Tip: Ingredients matter! Organic ingredients are derived from certified farmers. Their soil contains no pesticides and is in the purest form, making the active ingredients and essential oils in skincare lines such as Nutriganics more powerful and effective, as well as safer for our bodies and environment.

I do follow this same routine. I just use a different brand.
I use the Nutriganics eye cream — quite happy with it.
