Pedicures on Our Toes, Toes

We have a serious case of spring fever, especially since we’ve been able to say buh-bye to our boots and break out our sandals and wedges to show off those tootsies. Hooray! Haven’t done that yet? (Gasp!) Have no fear, we’ve laid out the best at-home nighttime pedicure regimen. Be prepared to have perfect pigs!

Clip & File

It’s been a while since your toes have gotten a little TLC. First things first, clip and file them down evenly. We love Revlon’s Deluxe Nail Clip ($2.50) and Dual Sided Emery Boards ($1.25) not only because they are so, so cheap—they’re really reliable!

Soak, Scrub & Moisturize

This is the part where you get to relax. Run some hot water into a bath or a big pot for two. Then, bombs away! Drop a Sugar Babe Sugar Scrub ($4.95) by LUSH into the water. This scrub starts out solid, but just add water and it melts to a perfect potion for soaking. After a few relaxing minutes, pat your feet dry and apply Heel Genius Foot Mask ($9.99) by Soap & Glory. J’adore!

Paint or Press

The hardest decision about pedicures is choosing the color! (Do we want a poppy hue? Or, classic French?) If you’re looking on the bright side, we highly suggest Lacquer Shine Nail Color in Beaming ($3) from Sally Hansen. But if our Français won you over, keep it simple with Everlasting French Toenail Kit ($6.99) from Kiss. Just press and go, go, go!

Now break out in Ke$ha…

I can’t deal with my toes when they first come out of boots from the winter. I have to save up and get a pedicure! :)
